Minoï, ça veut dire chéri en vietnamien.
Minoï c'était le petit nom donné à son
arrière grand mère.
Aujourd'hui, ce doux surnom m'a inspiré le nom
d'une marque de vêtements pour enfants.
Une marque qui raconte son histoire.
L'histoire d'un enfant aux
multiples origines. Avec des grands parents camerounais, vietnamiens,
espagnols et français, les trésors culturels
sont nombreux.
Mon fils est le mélange de tout ça et je ne
veux pas qu'il l'oublie.
Cette marque résolument urbaine et ancrée dans
l'ère du temps.
Elle est née de mon amour pour le chiffon.
Quand j'ai eu un enfant j'ai tout de
suite su que je jouerais à la poupée en me
servant de lui comme modèle.
J'y ai pris goût. J'ai donc voulu créer pour lui et pour
d'autres Minoï.
Le Wax vient des boubous de ma mère.
Ils racontent tous une histoire.

Minoï (pronounce /mɪnˈɔɪ ː/) means « sweetheart » in Vietnamese.
Minoï was how his beloved great-grandmother was called.
That lovely nickname is what inspired me for a kid’s clothing brand.
A brand that tells his story.
The story of a child from different backgrounds. With grandparents from Cameroon, Vietnam, France and Spain, there lay plenty of cultural wonders.
My son is a mix of all of them, and I don’t want him to forget that.
That brand is indeed urban and cutting edge.
It was born from my love for fabrics.
When I had a child, I knew right there I would play dolls, using him as a model.
I enjoyed it! That led me into creating Minoï, for him as well as for others.
The wax print comes from my mother’s boubous.
They all have their own story.
